The Music Admissions Roundtable (MAR) is a consortium of institutional music admissions and enrollment management professionals representing over 100 higher education institutions in the U.S. and Canada.

Founded in 2011 by a group of admission professionals from a range of music schools who wanted to come together to share ideas and information for the betterment of the profession, MAR started by scheduling roundtable discussions around music college fairs and then evolved to hosting conferences in Denver, Chicago, Interlochen, College Park, and Aspen. 

The challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic inspired MAR to move outside of our activities with colleagues to take on an important public leadership role in creating virtual performing arts college fairs that serve the students with whom we work

Post Covid-19 we are working to provide connections between students and their families and institutions that provide opportunities for music study.
